Green routes design event

 

Cumbernauld Green Routes feasibility project is looking to transform the centre of Cumbernauld and its links to surrounding communities by creating green routes which are accessible, safe and enjoyable. The green infrastructure audit and community research are nearly complete and the date for the design event has been set.

This event will bring together designers and invested parties to propose practical solutions to remove the barriers along the green routes. These proposals will form a costed action plan which is a key element of the feasibility project. To take part in the design event please book onto one of the following slots:

Stakeholder design workshop 2.30pm - 4.30pm

This session will focus on presenting the information from the Green Infrastructure Audit and Community Research. It will look at how, as members of organisations and professional bodies, we can work together to find solutions and ways to deliver them.

Who is it for: Stakeholders, landowners and invested parties?

Open design workshop 5pm - 8pm

The open drop-in event is an opportunity for anyone to come and help us get the design right. You know what works and what is appropriate in your community so help us find solutions to the issues that the research has identified.

Who is it for: Public event

Times: Drop in between 5pm – 8pm, Tuesday 1st December

Location: Cumbernauld New Town Hall
