Just when you thought it was safe to go back in to the woodlands… We’re back!  Wild Ways Well Weekends is returning for a final time this year on Saturday 1st December in Cumbernauld Glen.

We’ll go for a walk around the ancient woodland, taking in the sights and chatting about the nature we see as we go.

After the walk we’ll head to a clearing where we we’ll all help to make a steaming hot pot of soup that we can share around the campfire.

After we’ve warmed up with the soup we’ll learn how to identify and age some of the trees around us and we’ll have a go at creating some natural art from the materials nature provides us.

This is your chance to explore a beautiful woodland, in company with like-minded people; slow down, relax and de-stress; enjoy being amongst nature and learn a bit about the wildlife that shares our town with us.

Wild Ways Well is designed to help everyone discover the proven benefits of nature for their wellbeing.

We use the internationally recognised Five Ways Well framework for positive mental health and adapt it to a natural, outdoor environment.

We’ll be out for about 3 hours in total, all safety equipment, teas/coffee, soup, etc. will be provided.

Please dress for the weather and wear sensible footwear that you don’t mind potentially getting a bit dirty!

These activities are FREE but booking is essential. No experience of the outdoors/nature is necessary. Participants should be 18+ (or younger if accompanied by an adult) and have a basic level of fitness, suitable for a short walk and being on our feet for most of the session.

Please contact Paul at p.barclay@tcv.org.uk to book.
