Wild Ways Well Wild Walk

On this wander through Cumbernauld Glen Wildlife Reserve we’ll look for signs of the natural – and supernatural – goings on of the woods at this spooky time of year. We’ll tell a few stories, open up our imaginations and try a bit of natural art.

(Please note these sessions are aimed at adults, though accompanied children can attend. Ghostly monks, headless horseman, ghosts, ghouls and boglies welcome.)

The Wild Ways Well Open group is available for anyone who would like to spend some time amongst nature and to discover how it can help us all live healthy, happy lives.

Contact with nature and time spent in green spaces is proven to benefit everyone’s mental wellbeing.  We use the internationally recognised Five Ways Well framework and combine it with fun and informative nature themed sessions in the parks and wildlife reserves of Cumbernauld.

All sessions are free of charge and run by an experienced guide. All equipment is provided and you don’t need any specialist skills or knowledge to take part – just bring yourself, a drink or any snacks you will require and dress for the Scottish weather!

The session will begin at 12.30pm and aim to finish for 3pm. Please be aware that this walk may involve some travel off path over rough ground.

Sessions MUST be booked in advance.  Group numbers will be limited and social distancing measures will be adhered to throughout.
