,

To help celebrate National Meadows Day This Saturday (2nd July) from 11am until 3pm we will be teaming up with Froglife's Dragonfinder project and Buglife to bring you some exciting (FREE!) activities at St. Maurice’s Pond.

We’ll be doing some pond dipping to look for newts and local amphibian species, and a few other beasties as well! Wildflower and pollinator identification will be happening in the meadow areas and look out for the Cumbernauld Living Landscapes’ Animal Spotter game.

We also have a few crafts and activities planned for the day, including making your own native wildflower seed bombs to improve our new community orchard for the pollinators. We might even bring out our famous origami animals for you to try!

So come along on Saturday for a free, fun-filled family day out!
